The LG Star was recently spotted to boast a dual-core Tegra 2 processor within, running on what could very well be Android 2.3 Gingerbread, or perhaps even Android 3.0 Honeycomb when the real deal actually hits the market for the masses. Other specifications of the LG Star include a 4-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera that does full HD video recording as well, upping the ante while turning today’s 5-megapixel shooters at 720p video recording capability obsolete by the time 2011 rolls around. There is no word on the type of processor running proceedings from within, but whispers have it that it could be sporting dual ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore chips. Time to wipe off your drool from the floor if such specifications were to become mainstream next year. Image courtesy of Engadget.
