Silverlight Coming To Xbox 360 To Enable More 3rd Party Apps?

Will we be seeing apps being offered for the Xbox 360 similar to how they’re offered for the iPhone? Speculation is going around since Microsoft put out a job advert asking for a software development engineer to bring Silverlight to the Xbox 360. If everything goes hunky dory, perhaps Microsoft will be opening up the Xbox 360 as a more open 3rd party development platform and will muscle into the battle between the Apple TV and Google TV.
