[CES 2011] If the announcement of Dell’s HSPA+ Streak 7 tablet wasn’t enough to make you smile, perhaps you’d want to check out another device that the company demonstrated– the Dell Venue. This phone is more or less similar to the Dell Venue Pro, with the most obvious difference being the lack of a keyboard and use of different operating system (WP7 on Venue Pro and Android on Venue). Pricing and launch date of this phone weren’t mentioned, though we already know that the phone has been through the hurdle of the FCC, so hopefully it’s not too far off. The good news is that the phone is already available over in Korea, so Dell should know how to sell this phone pretty well. The Dell Venue will offer specifications such as:

  • Android 2.2
  • 1GHz processor
  • Dell’s custom interface – Dell Stage
  • 8-megapixel camera
  • Flash 10.1 support
  • 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass AMOLED touchscreen display
