Helmet-mounted cameras are useful little devices that let you record your sporting feats from a first-person point of view. Of course, they’re not always the most robust devices out there, so you might accidentally send a few of them to the afterlife. The V.I.O POV.HD is one helmet camera that is determined to stay functional, though, as it’s touted as being smashproof, waterproof, shockproof, and also dustproof while being able to capture 1080p video footage of your feats. The camera gives you a 142-degree view of things and stores video on a 32GB SDHC via a separate device. The 2-inch LCD display allows you to see the videos that you’ve captured. The POV.HD is powered by four AA batteries and will set you back $600.
