Lookee TV

Lookee TV, a WiFi enabled internet TV and radio player was introduced earlier this year at CES, and recently won the CES 2011 Bright Idea Award. In case you aren’t familiar with the device, all you need is a WiFi connection and a TV for Lookee TV to connect to (or you can watch it on the tiny screen if you wish) and you’re set. Lookee TV uses the internet to access a dedicated server that redirects all your favorite online TV and radio stations right to the device itself – and here’s the best part: no subscription fees. With filters for you to sort your content by language, region and genre, you can easily find content you want to watch. And because Lookee TV’s technology enables partnerships with any online video, audio or photo source, you can expect not to be barred from accessing any online content through the device. In addition to streaming content from the internet, Lookee TV can also grab content from your PC or SD cards. At the moment the Lookee TV can only be purchased online, though they are looking for distributors to help carry the devices in stores. Head here to find out more about it.
