Who would have thought that you are able to receive putting lessons from a robot instead of a human? That is now possible with the RoboPutt, a robotic vending machine which is capable of sharing its knowledge with you for five minutes – at a cost, of course, where we are looking at the equivalent of a decent golf ball’s price. Other putting machines will require the user to perform the swing to which the machine provides feedback, but RoboPutt does things differently, as it requires you to build your muscle memory by practicing the perfect swing over and over again. Hopefully this effect will be carried forward to the greens to put all your money to good use. A four to five minute lesson costs approximately $5, so you might just stumble upon RoboPutt machines at qualified pro shops, golf schools and training facilities in the near future.
