Apogee Duet 2If you’re a musician who enjoys recording your own music at home, and you own a Mac, Apogee’s latest audio interface, the Duet 2 is designed to do the job. Acting as an interface for you to record your instruments and vocals, the Duet 2 has 2 line/mic/instrument inputs for you to plug in your gear, and records audio at a high sampling rate of up to 192kHz. It even packs preamps to boost the sound from your mic, and it features output ports for you to hook up the Duet 2 to your high-quality speakers for you to mix or preview what you’ve recorded. The Duet 2 communicates to your Mac through a high-speed USB 2.0 port. The Apogee Duet 2 will be available this beginning April, for $595. Head here for more details.
