The HP Metal Watch concept device was birthed from a partnership with Fossil – and it is definitely something off the beaten path for HP, considering they’re the world’s largest PC manufacturers at the moment, also churning out calculators if you’re so inclined – but watches? That’s something new, which is why the Metal Watch is still a conceptual idea that sees the watch run a “full software stack”, although we are not privy to the kind of interaction method with the Metal Watch. Anyone wants to venture a guess and figure out just what kind of display it comes with, alongside the other internal components? Perhaps HP will actually realize this timepiece in due time when technology catches up with the idea.
