So the HTC Incredible S has already been launched – at least in Asia. It will be tied down to a carrier in Malaysia at least for March (DiGi), followed by an unlocked version from April onwards. According to a HTC exec, the earthquake in Japan will not affect the HTC Incredible S supply in the immediate future even though they obtain their Super LCD display from Sony who has shut down their plants in Japan due to the recent earthquake. It wasn’t mentioned, however, whether future supply lines will be disrupted or not.

It can be quite safe to assume that the HTC Incredible S will not reach the sales figures of the iPhone 4, so demand for Super LCD displays may not be that high for the moment even in a limited supply environment despite all the logistical problems to boot.

We do hope to snag a unit for review purposes, and all in all, the handset does look pretty good on paper and in real life, huge display and all.
