Facebook Stocks

I’ve previously mentioned that Facebook was on its way to taking over the internet, and it looks like the social network is on its way there. We now have one more thing to add to the list of things Facebook can do with its service: let you buy and sell stocks.

Loyal3, a stock transfer agent, together in a partnership with Nasdaq, now lets users purchase and sell stocks using their favorite social networking service in a transaction that is completed in three clicks. Consumers pay no transaction fee, can purchase shares in amounts as small as $10, and can share with their friends about their trade on Facebook.

While Facebook isn’t diverging away from what it initially was – it still has the same features it started with – keeping in touch with your friends and family, it seems to be extending its reach to every corner of the internet. From games to movie rentals, and now stocks – I wonder what’s next for the social network?
