Hewlett Packard (better known as HP) has recently applied for trademark protection on half a dozen brandings, where they all do point towards the very high possibility of new TouchPad tablets from the world’s top computer manufacturer. To put it mildly, it means that the webOS range of TouchPad tablets will most probably see new additions, where the brandings applied for include the TouchPadFlex, TouchPadPro, TouchPadTwin, TouchPadGeo, TouchPad7 and the TouchPadGo.

Needless to say, all of them have one common point – they all carry the TouchPad name, so we could very well see 10″ models arrive in due time. What are some of the other variations that you can think of? Perhaps a hinged keyboard design, or one with flexible or a rollable display?

As with many other rumors that float around the Internet, it only makes perfect sense if one is patient enough to hear an official word from the manufacturer, and that’s exactly what we’ll do as we await for HP’s future for its TouchPad tablets.
