LG Optimus Sol

Looking forward to a new Android handset from LG? It looks like the folks over at BestBoyZ have managed to get their hands on an upcoming LG device that’s been named the Optimus Sol (E730). Originally codenamed “Victor”, the Android smartphone is said to be a mid-range device, and will be launched for Vodafone which means we won’t be seeing it on our shores, but if we do it’ll probably be under the guise of a different name.

The LG Optimus Sol features a 3.8″ AMOLED display, a 1GHz processor, Android 2.3.3 (With LG’s custom Optimus UI), a 5-megapixel rear camera and will be arriving in black or silver when it launches. No word on when that will be or how much it will retail for at the moment. The phone looks like most typical Android devices, though it has some pretty nice curves around and on the back of the phone. Any takers? Watch a hands-on video of the phone:
