There was word last week that Samsung was working on a new LTE-capable device which will be known as “Celox” – now that surely rolls off the tongue rather easily, don’t you think so? It is rather interesting to note that Samsung themselves have denied that the Celox exists, but what do you say to the image that you see above? Surely this is not an X-Files size conspiracy, right? Perhaps it isn’t the Celox in Samsung’s eyes as it will be known as something else, hence the technicality which comes in play here. For now though, we will go with the moniker Celox at the moment. It will also be known as the GT-i9210 or GT-i9220 where its manufacturer code is concerned, at least according to the Japanese blog “Blog of Mobille!!.”

The Celox will come with a 4.5″ WVGA Super AMOLED+ display, where there is a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060 processor running proceedings from within, 4G LTE support, 1GB RAM, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread right out of the box, 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel camera at the back, a 2-megapixel front facing camera and a 1,750 mAh battery.

These do sound like the Samsung Hercules with some semblance to the Galaxy S II. Expect the GT-i9210/20 to arrive on South Korea’s SK Telecom network as well as Japan’s NTT DoCoMo. Perhaps we can see it arrive at the FCC soon?
