If you’re on T-Mobile and you have a weak coverage at home – you’re in luck. T-Mobile is planning to launch a signal booster program for people just like you. Starting September 7th, you’ll be able to pick up a Signal Booster from the carrier to help boost T-Mobile coverage in your home. While this problem has been averted in the past with the use of WiFi calling, this new program will help folks who don’t have a WiFi connection at home.
While the boosters will be given away free, there are certain conditions that need to be met in order to be eligible for the program. Users must have a 2-year agreement for the line that they order the booster for, and they’ll have to return the Signal Boosters to customer care at the end of their service. Sounds like a good idea, plus the fact that the T-Mobile isn’t going to charge customers for the service will probably boost the program’s popularity. Plus I’m pretty sure everybody already has the mindset of “we’re paying full price for our plan anyway – why should they charge their subscribers for it?” How many of you will be planning to pick up one of these boosters next week?
