LG and Jil Sander team up to release first Windows “Fashion Phone”

Looking for a sexy new Windows Phone device to purchase? Well, you might want to hold out for LG’s upcoming creation. The Korean company has worked together with a German fashion designer, Jil Sander to come up with the first Windows “Fashion Phone”. Called the LG Jil Sander E906, it features a sleek and slim device that features the signature Jil Sander electric blue trim. It’s definitely up there with one of the best looking phones I’ve ever seen, though the middle Windows button might be a bit too flash for me. Other than that I think it’s one sweet looking device.

The phone will pack WP first generation phone specs (except that it will ship with Mango) – a 1GHz processor, 3.8″ TFT display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of storage, and it will be preloaded with custom apps like the Jil Sander app for folks to easily reach the Jil Sander online store. The phone is expected to launch as early as tomorrow (October 7^th) and will be available in Europe. No word of a US date or price, but the LG Jil Sander E906 has the potential to be a hot-selling WP7 device – provided that it’s priced reasonably. What do you think of the phone?
