Samsung Galaxy Note 5.3 arrives in Europe this month

Looking forward to the Galaxy Note? The phone-tablet that was announced early last month finally has a time frame for when it will hit the stores. According to reports online, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 5.3 will be available starting from later this month, starting in Europe – namely Germany, UK (November 15^th), France and other European countries. The following month, Samsung will be launching the giant phone in its home country of Korea with 4G LTE connectivity.

The Galaxy Note features a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED display, HSPA+ and LTE connectivity, 2,500mAh battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing camera, S Pen interface and stylus, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Still no word on an American launch, but let’s hope it won’t be too far away.

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Galaxy Note: The Samsung Galaxy Note was introduced by Samsung during IFA 2011 in Berlin. It was the first smartphone to break the 5" display size barrier with an 5.3" 720p Super-AMOLED display. The international (non-US) version was powered by a Samsung Samsung Exynos 4210, while the U.S version used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255T. In terms of storage, the Galaxy Note came with 16GB or 32GB of internal flash memory, which could be supplemented with a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 2500mAh, which was nice at the time, but has been surpassed since by the Galaxy Note 2, which has a 3100mAh battery.
