How many of you have a Roku or Boxee box at home? Good – this particular post is not meant to be directed in your direction. What we’re looking at here is Western Digital’s WD TV Live, a streaming box that targets home media enthusiasts as well as those who spend most of their time online streaming. While Spotify was included in the lineup in October, the latest additions in terms of access would be Vimeo and Playjam.

Vimeo is famous enough as it is, while Playjam might need more marketing on their part to make it more known among users. Just what is Playjam all about? Well, it is a games channel that is filled to the brim with casual time wasters, perfect to keep you occupied while you look for a way to kill a couple of minutes as you wait for your movie to finish loading. Either one of them can be installed via a firmware update for the WD TV.
