Samsung makes plenty of consumer electronics devices, but smartphones are one of their niche markets that they have done particularly well (apart from TVs, that is). The South Korean conglomerate has just announced that they have signed a partnership with Swedish headphone maker Jays in order to deliver award-winning v-JAYS equipment right inside Samsung’s ever expanding range of smartphone devices through the month of February, but this is happening in South Korea only. We do keep our hopes out that with Samsung having its presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona just next month, more information on Jays-infused smartphones could very well be in the pipeline. This is certainly news that will make HTC executives sit up and take notice, after all, HTC did work in tandem with Dr Dre’s Beats brand, while Nokia has cozied up with Monster already.
