We know that Samsung will not be holding a press conference at MWC especially since the Samsung Galaxy S3 will not be making its appearance then. According to Samsung, the highly anticipated device will instead be unveiled at an event of their own later this year, but with Samsung recently starting to hand out invites to an event in Amsterdam held on the 15th of March, the speculations have started anew.

According to the invitation pictured above, the only description available for the event is “Samsung Line-up 2012”, and given that the Galaxy S3 is expected to be part of Samsung’s 2012 line-up, we guess we can’t blame the speculators and the fans for hoping that the device will be unveiled then.

However just like the event that Samsung will be holding on the 22nd of March in France, there is a good chance that this event in Amsterdam will be held for the benefit of those in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg who could not attend MWC, and give them a chance for a hands-on with Samsung’s portfolio thus far.

Heck, the event may not even be about mobile devices for all we know, so Galaxy S3 hopefuls you may not want to get your hopes up just yet. Either way we will be marking the 15th of March down on our calendars, so fret not as we will be keeping you updated of the situation.
