When it comes to reading the news, iOS users have access to plenty of news curating apps, although some of the more popular ones include Flipboard and Zite. The good news for Android users is that it looks like Zite has arrived on Android and should be bringing Android users the same experience that iPad users have been enjoying all this while.

For those unfamiliar with Zite, the app could be thought of as Pandora for news. It can connect to your Twitter or Google Reader account to get an idea of the type of reading material that you enjoy, and by reading articles and Liking/Disliking it, the app will learn the different topics that interest you and will present them in an easy-to-read format (at least as far as the iPad version is concerned).

At the moment Zite is available free for Android smartphones, and while it should not have any problems running on Android tablets, we doubt you will get the same experience that iPad users are having. Perhaps an update in the future will address that, but for now if you have a Zite account on the iPhone/iPad, you will be able to log into it on the Android app and pick up where you left off.
