Residents in Europe looking to get their hands on a new laptop might be interested in seeing the latest in what Sony has to offer. The company has rather quietly revamped its VAIO E series and has added the VAIO E 14P to the mix. Sporting a pretty sleek and funky design, it features a wrap-around design that gives the illusion a continuous shell. It will also feature a two-tone design in black and red, white and teal, pink and red that certainly gives it a pretty striking look.

The VAIO E 14P is also expected to come with gesture control support, allowing users to perform commands like playing/pausing music, adjusting volume and etc through simple hand movements. The laptop will also feature a 14” 16:9 1366×768 display, an AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics card with 1GB of VRAM, an Intel Core i3 2350M processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD along with xLoud and Clear Phase technologies that will help boost the laptop’s audio. Sony is also boasting a 7 hour battery life on the VAIO E 14P. Unfortunately no word on pricing or availability just yet.
