A couple of weeks ago, the Google+ app was updated for iOS devices ahead of Android. A little weird since Android belongs to Google, so you’d think that they would get the update first, right? Regardless the Android update was expected to follow shortly after and it looks like it is finally here! Apart from the redesign (which looks pretty good!), Google+ for Android got a couple of new features as well. According to the “What’s New” portion in the Google Play store:

  • Visual refresh of the stream and improved navigation
  • Initiate a Hangout from the main menu
  • Support for ringing hangout notification
  • Support for post editing
  • Messenger suggestions for people you may know
  • Download photos from posts or Messenger conversations

So if these sound like changes and new features that you’ve been waiting for, head on over to Google Play for the free download!
