Nintendo’s new gaming console, the Wii U, is expected to be released later this year although there has been no official word on a release date just yet. So what is Nintendo doing with all that time then? Apart from perfecting the console and perhaps cooking up some new games, a recent photo has surfaced which seems to suggest that Nintendo has also redesigned the console’s controller. Assuming the photo is to be believed, it seems that gamers can expect a Wii U controller with some buttons moved around, a Wii U logo placed at the bottom left hand corner of the device, and yes, those are proper analog sticks that we are looking at instead of the sliders on the original Wii U which was shown off at E3 back in 2011. Granted that this unit might not be the final release, but it looks like Nintendo has listened to their fans out there and we guess the final form of the Wii U can be seen at E3 2012 which will be taking place next month (June 5th-7th), so be sure to check back with us then for the updates.
