Mobile apps seem to be the way to go these days, and for folks who will be attending Google’s I/O conference from June 27th to June 29th later this month, you might want to ensure that you leave your iPhone at home, and bring along your Samsung Galaxy S3 – alongside the official Google I/O 2012 Conference Companion App that can be downloaded straight from the Play Store itself. This download will weigh in at just 2.2MB, where you will be able to use it (theoretically, hopefully it works as well as described) to view the conference agenda, change your personal schedule so that you can perform at peak efficiency, view detailed sessions, code lab, and speaker information, check out a short write up for the speaker, photos, as well as Google+ profiles. If you are one who is prone to get lost, the companion app works great to help you find your way around thanks to the conference maps. Have you given it a go yet, and if you did, how do you intend to use it?
