A magazine ad that ran has slated Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for a release this coming February – which is approximately half a year away, and is pretty much spot on to previous whispers that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will feature an ‘early 2013’ release date according to publisher Konami. This particular advertisement that you see was printed in Intent Media’s Sourcebook, coupled with another release date for a different game – slating PES 2013 to be released in October (next year, of course). For those who are wondering just how much more the Metal Gear franchise can be milked, all I can say is, there is plenty of room to do so – and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will play its role in the franchise by being a hack & slash spin-off, courtesy of Platinum Games who developed Bayonetta. We do hope that Konami  would come up with an official release date for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance soon, instead of relying on just ‘early 2013’ as at press time.
