With the emphasis being placed on faster and more powerful phones these days, we’re not sure if there’s still a market for phones which are more than a year old. However if for whatever reason you still can’t let go of the Samsung Galaxy S2, perhaps in favor of the Galaxy S3 or the upcoming Galaxy Note 2, you might be interested to learn that Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S2 Crystal Edition. In case the name itself did not already give it away, the Crystal Edition of the Galaxy S2 is being targeted at the female audience and will sport a leather backing adorned with 129 Swarovski crystals. Apart from the bling-factor, the phone remains the same which means a 4.3” Super AMOLED Plus display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1,650mAh battery on board. The handset is expected to be showcased at IFA in Berlin which will be taking place this week and is also expected to retail for €599 (~$751). So, any takers?
