It was not too long ago when the Pantech Flex, going by its model number P9090 as well as being better known as the Pantech Magnus, was spotted in a benchmark with an image of it spotted just a few days after. Well, here we are with the official announcement of the Pantech Flex making its way to AT&T, where you will be able to enjoy LTE connectivity if your area supports it. Right off the bat, you will find that the Pantech Flex carries a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, has 8GB of internal memory which can be further augmented using a microSD memory card slot, an 8-megapixel shooter at the back as well as a 2-megapixel camera in front.

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Pantech Flex will be powered by an 1,830mAh battery, tipping the scales at all of 4.6 ounces as it arrives this month for $50 a pop after a 2-year contract. This does seem to be a mid-range smartphone, which should make for a decent introduction to the Android world for first timers. [Press Release]
