Microsoft’s next big release is just around the corner. The company has been working on its upcoming OS ‘Windows 8’ for some time and had earlier announced that the OS will finally be released during the month of October this year. Eventually, it also specified that on Oct 26th, Windows 8 will become commercially available.

Now, the company has rolled out official invitations to a Windows 8 event on Oct 25th. The event is at New York City yet what’s intriguing is that the invite doesn’t contain exact venue or time for the event.

While the invite doesn’t specifically speak about a Windows 8 launch, it is quite obvious. It comes with a ‘You’re invited to celebrate’ splashed on it’s front. Apart from Windows 8, Microsoft is also expected to bring its hardware partners on board and showcase their Windows 8 tablets and PCs at the event.

Since this initial invite doesn’t have any details on the event’s location and time, we can expect another invite to roll out quite soon. Stay tuned, we will inform you as soon as it comes out.
