While there probably might be a higher demand for premium phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3, we’re sure that there are more than a few customers who might appreciate something a little rugged, such as the Samsung Rugby Pro which is offered on AT&T’s network. Now the good news is that if you’re one of them, you’re in luck as AT&T has announced that the highly-anticipated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is now making its way out onto Samsung Rugby Pro devices. Granted it’s not the most high-end Android smartphone, but with features such as Project Butter and Google Now which is part of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean package, hopefully this update will make your smartphone feel like a brand new one! As expected this update is being rolled out via the OTA and chances are it is being done in batches, so fret not if you have yet to receive the notification. However if you are impatient and cannot wait, you can try pulling it manually by going to your phone’s Settings -> About device -> Software update.
