trackrhere is always a niche for young blood to thrive in an established industry, and when it comes to haute couture, young designers such as Asher Levine could eventually spearhead the effort to introduce even more technology into what has been widely considered to be a monolithic fashion industry. Right now, Hussein Chalayan might hold the position of top dog as a haute couture visionary, thanks to his past efforts of spectacular video dresses and shape-shifting silhouettes, but those creations were never intended to function in a practical, everyday manner.

Levine, however, has other ideas, which were most boldly shared in his Fall 2013 collection. In fact, for that particular collection, Levine has embedded his premium gloves, weekender bags, and coats with a Bluetooth 4.0 chip thanks to Phone Halo, allowing these fashion accessories and items to be tracked in a jiffy via an iPhone app, just in case they happen to be stolen or lost. After all, those things do not come cheap in the first place, so a way to trace them down is always a good idea.
