Ugreen has launched the HiTune T8, a new pair of budget-friendly wireless earbuds designed to combine active noise cancellation, high-resolution audio, and AI-powered software features. The earbuds are currently available through JD.com in China for 179 yuan, approximately $26.
HiTune T8 Specifications 
The HiTune T8 features a conventional in-ear design and carries an IPX5 water-resistance rating, offering protection against sweat and light rain. The earbuds and charging case weigh 49.4 grams (1.74 ounces) combined, while the case measures 62 × 51.5 × 26.8 mm (2.44 × 2.03 × 1.06 inches). Ugreen includes five sets of silicone ear tips to help users find a comfortable fit.
For audio, the earbuds use 12.4 mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers. They support SBC and AAC codecs, along with LDAC for higher-resolution wireless streaming. This enables the Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. Through the companion app, users can adjust the equalizer and activate a simulated spatial audio mode.
The active noise cancellation system uses six microphones to monitor external sounds and audio inside the ear canal. It can reduce noise by up to 55 dB and process frequencies up to 4,000 Hz. Users can select from light, moderate, and deep ANC levels, while automatic switching adjusts the mode according to the surrounding environment. The microphones also use directional processing to isolate voices and reduce background noise during calls.
Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0, with multipoint support for pairing with two devices simultaneously. Ugreen also includes several AI tools, such as live transcription, meeting summaries, text generation, and real-time translation. According to the company, these features are available without a subscription.
Battery Life and Charging 
The HiTune T8 offers up to 11 hours of playback from the earbuds, extending to 50 hours with the 600 mAh charging case. These figures are measured at 50% volume using AAC with ANC disabled. Activating ANC or LDAC will reduce endurance.
The case charges through USB-C and takes approximately two hours to fully recharge. A 10-minute quick charge provides around four hours of playback, making the earbuds suitable for users seeking a combination of affordability and modern features.
