android-4.0-twitter

Version 4.0 of Twitter for Android has been released. Being one of the most widely used apps on Google’s mobile platform, a new update is always welcomed. The latest update brings a new UI feel as well as a couple of nice new features. All doesn’t seem to be good though, multiple users have given bad reviews about the new update on Google Play Store. For some the app is crashing upon launch, while some complain of the awkwardness in switching between multiple Twitter accounts on the app.

The release notes point towards the brand new look and feel crafted for Android 4.0 and higher versions. Users can now swipe between tabs much more easily. Hashtag and mention support has been greatly improved. The new update also allows users to discover and install new apps on their Android smartphones straight from Tweets. Apart from all that, the usual slew of bug fixes and performance improvements have been made. You may download Twitter for Android 4.0 from Google Play Store, perhaps leave a comment and let others know about your experience with it.
