Twitter has revamped the experience of editing a profile, now making it much more easier and faster than ever before. Twitter now supports inline profile editing and drag & drop photo uploads for the header and background. Both of these new features are available on mobile apps as well as the full fledged website. Inline profile editing means that users can now update their name, location, bio and website directly from the Profile settings page. Making the changes just requires to put in new information and clicking on Save.

To change or remove profile photos, users simply have to click on the ‘Change Photo’ button positioned right next to the profile picture. The same goes for changing or removing the header photo. Photos can be uploaded as well as positioned and sized to the user’s liking. Once they have done that, all that’s left to do is to simply click on Apply. Perhaps Twitter thinks that making it easier for users to make changes to their profile would encourage them to make changes more often? Regardless, do let us know if these subtle changes make you want to regularly update your Twitter profile.
