blackberry-a10-specifications

An internal and obviously confidential slide has allegedly leaked from within BlackBerry. It details BlackBerry A10 specifications and features. The A10 is said to be BB’s upcoming flagship smartphone, a successor for the company’s Z10 smartphone. Previous rumors suggest that it will have a s inch display. Only yesterday we saw a short video clip of the device in action. The leaked slide provides detailed information, though one can’t be too sure of the information as yet because there has been no official confirmation of this device from the company.

The BlackBerry A10 a.k.a Aristo is likely to have a 1.7GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Pro processor with 2GB RAM and quadcore GPU. Up front there will be a 5 inch OLED 1280×720 display with 295 pixels-per-inch. Internal memory is said to be 16GB, users might have the option for external expansion up to 64GB through microSD cards. A number of sensors are presumably going to be onboard as well, such as proximity, altimeter and ambient light sensors. Connectivity options might include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with support for 4G mobile hotspot, NFC and DLNA. The A10 is said to have a 2,800 non-removable battery, a first for BlackBerry smartphones. A previously leaked slide has shown that the micro-SIM might be sideloaded in the device. The A10 is expected to be released in the coming months. [Image via CrackBerry]
