Back in May it was rumored that there were a handful of Windows Phone 8 devices planned for Q3 of 2013, and one of them was a certain Samsung device known as the “Cronus LTE”, indicating that this will be a Windows Phone 8 device by the South Korean tech giant with LTE connectivity. Well if you were wondering about how true this Cronus device is, the folks at WMPowerUser have managed to “confirm” the existence of the device through a Samsung Mobile Care app. According to the description of the Mobile Care app, the Cronus device was mentioned with “developing” placed in parenthesis. Since the Mobile Care app is developed by Samsung themselves, we guess this is as official as it gets. In any case the exact specifications of the Samsung Cronus LTE device remains unknown, but with a rumored launch for Q3 2013, we guess an announcement shouldn’t be too far off! Here’s hoping that Samsung will be putting more effort into this device than their previous Windows Phone offerings.
