upside-down-carNo, what you see above is not a photo that has had its orientation changed, and neither is it part of the science fiction world of “Upside Down” as depicted in the movies sometime last year, but rather, it is simply that – an upside down car that will run just the way it is. I guess you can call this to be a frightening fusion of a wretched 1990 Ford Festiva and a terrible looking (again, subjectively speaking here) 1999 Chevy Camaro, where the Festiva’s relatively small1.3 liter engine will have to move the whole inverted body of the far larger sized car, original Camaro wheels included. Needless to say, to place this particular upside down car on a racing circuit would be pretty much close to committing suicide, were it not for the rather strict safety rules in place.

Anyone who sees this on the circuit are definitely going to react in one of the following three most of the time – bewildered looks, broad grins, or with plenty of laughter. Not only that, it is never going to be one of those underdog, feel good stories that boasts of a car with plenty of heart, overcoming whatever obstacles that are right in front of it with gusto.
