twitter-androidIt has been a long time in coming, but as the saying goes, better late than never. Twitter, the extremely popular microblogging service has announced that they will finally roll out a tablet-optimized app for Android over in the Google Play store, where in this particular app, it will arrive with its fair share of features – and to sweeten the deal, most of these will remain exclusive to Android users. Unfortunately, there is one issue to look out for – chances are you will be unable to obtain this particular app for your tablet at the moment, since we found out that Twitter will only be releasing the tablet-optimized app for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition right from the get go, before other Samsung tablets would be on the receiving end in due time.

Eventually, Twitter will roll out this app for other Android-powered tablets, but so far, there has been no concrete release dates just yet for these tablets. I suppose that means it is safer to purchase one of Samsung’s tablets at this point in time if you want to remain up to speed with what Twitter is offering for their tablet-optimized Android app. Oh yeah, it is said that the Twitter app for Android tablets will also feature its very own widget for your home screen, in addition to the ability to doodle over images you uploaded using Samsung’s S-Pen, apart from a multi-screen view that lets you view two apps simultaneously – including Twitter and Chrome.
