A couple of years ago, ASUS unveil a cover for its Transformer tablet that had an origami-like design, and it seems that the origami design language is still with ASUS as a new accessory by the company has been revealed via ASUS’ YouTube channel. The accessory in question is that of a keyboard accessory which can be paired with tablets and smartphones and has been dubbed the ASUS TransKeyboard. Based on what we can see, the device appears to be pretty compact and will come with a cover that resembles the origami cover for the Transformer Prime.

The cover, given that it is foldable, can also double up as a stand for smartphones or tablets which we have to admit is pretty nifty. The keyboard accessory will come with Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and will support both Android 4.2 and above along with Windows 8. It measures 26cm x 13cm x 1cm and will weigh 246grams. No word on availability and pricing just yet, but considering the video has already made its way onto YouTube, perhaps we will be hearing an announcement in the near future, but in the meantime you can check out the video above for more details!
