p9982-event-inviteThe BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9982 handset has been rumored for a while now, and last we heard, there was a possibility of it launching on the 21st of November. Unfortunately it looks like the 21st of November rumor will not be panning out because according to an invite being sent out by BlackBerry, they have announced an event for the 24th of November and as you can see in the invite above, it talks about “Porsche Design”, leaving very little to the imagination, although we guess in this case we’ll be interested in hearing about pricing, specs, and availability.

The P’9982 is expected to be based on the BlackBerry Z10, although it will get a special Porsche Design look and a Porsche theme. If the previous P’9981 is any indication, this phone will not come cheap and would-be customers can look forward to paying anywhere upwards of $2,000 for the privilege of owning it. In any case we guess we will just have to wait for the official details, so be sure to check back with us then for the updates. In the meantime you can check out a recent hands-on video of the device to get an idea of what you might be able to expect.
