chromebook-faux-leather

Samsung introduced the faux leather back finish with the Galaxy Note 3 at IFA last year. It was believed that the company will bring it to the Galaxy S5 as well, but that did not happen. Now it appears that Samsung is going to add faux leather to its next Chromebook. An image of such a product has been leaked online which explicitly hints at the possibility of Samsung’s next Chromebook having faux leather on its lid. It isn’t known as yet when Samsung is planning to launch this Chromebook.

The image, leaked by well known Twitter personality @evleaks, doesn’t show much of the Chromebook but its enough to discern the faux leather. The Chrome logo as well as the letters “C” and “H” do give away exactly what product this is, but what we’re undoubtedly more interested in is what beats inside the shell.

Rumor has it that this new Chromebook will be available in 11.6 and 13.3 inches, with the former touting a Samsung Exynos 5 processor with 4GB RAM and 16GB SSD. The 13.3 inch Chromebook may have an Intel processor with matching hardware specifications. Starting price for these new Chromebooks is expected to be around $299. As previously, it isn’t known when Samsung is going to unveil its new Chromebooks, so we’ll just have to wait and see when that happens.
