photo-1-1Have you ever browsed the Explore feature of Instagram? Well if you haven’t, we can’t say we blame you. For the most part the photos featured in the Explore section feels a bit random, as opposed to being something we can relate to. This is an issue that Instagram is aware of and is something they have been working on as well.

According to a recent post by Instagram’s co-founder, Mike Krieger on Facebook, he writes, “If it’s been a while since you checked out the Instagram Explore page, give it a whirl; the team’s been working on incorporating personalized content in there now, too.” The photos that now appear in the Explore section of the app are now supposed to feature more photos that have been liked by those who you follow on Instagram.

What this means is that the photos are now more personalized, as opposed to before which felt pretty random and left us wondering what are we supposed to be looking at. In a statement that Instagram released to the folks at TechCrunch, “We’re always looking to update the types of posts you see in Explore to better tailor it to you. We’ll show you a variety of photos and videos that people you follow have liked, as well as content that is trending in the Instagram community.”

So, have any of our readers noticed the changes that Instagram has made so far?
