fleksy

One of the most popular third party keyboards for Android has received a major update today. Fleksy version 3.0 has been released and it brings support for premium themes among other things. It updated app brings a new content store from where users can purchase and download themes to add a bit of flair to the keyboard.

Two versions of Fleksy are available from the Google Play Store. There’s the free version which has some features, like autocorrect, which automatically go away after one month. The full version costs $2.99 and has all features, including the invisible keyboard feature, which makes the keys transparent so users can see what’s on the screen as they type.

Apart from giving users the ability to skin Fleksy as they please, the keyboard’s standard layout has also been updated with new colors and animations. The focus isn’t all on cosmetic changes, some tweaks have been made under the hood as well. There’s no support for 17 new languages that were previously only available in the beta version, including but not limited to Albanian, Catalan, Croatian and Norwegian.

Users will get one theme for free from the content store, all others costs $0.99. The feature is limited to the Android app right now but will be added to Fleksy for iOS 8 when it launches later this year.
