fleksyWhile we might pay a lot of attention to hardware features like display size, resolution, camera megapixels, processor speed, and RAM when it comes to smartphones, software is just as important and as we have done so in the past, highlighting how a virtual keyboard feels is also integral to the smartphone experience.

That being said it seems that ZTE and Fleksy have recently come to some sort of arrangement in which future ZTE smartphones will be preloaded with Fleksy’s keyboard. This means that if you were to buy a ZTE smartphone in the future, the default keyboard bundled won’t be Google’s Android keyboard, it won’t be ZTE’s keyboard, but rather it will be Fleksy.

According to Fleksy’s CEO Kosta Eleftheriou, “We’re committed to delivering a faster and more expressive input experience for users across the globe. ZTE is one of the world’s leading device manufacturers, and we’re pleased to bring Fleksy to their users.” The bundled keyboard will also include the custom theme builder.

This basically allows users to customize the keyboard to their own preference. Granted you can always download Fleksy and install it yourself, but if you’re not too familiar with the process or if you just want a fuss-free experience out of the box, this partnership might be of interest to you.
