You must be a pretty notable personality in order to have a holiday set up in your honor, and while what we are about to report has nothing to do with a holiday, it does have everything to do with Nintendo’s beloved Princess Peach. In fact, Nintendo of Japan has dubbed August to be National Princess Peach Month. There were not game-related statements that accompanied this particular declaration, but at least you have an excuse to don a pink dress – or a pink shirt, if you are in love with the princess who has Mario on her fingertips.
Will it be more than just celebrating the presence of Princess Peach across numerous game platforms over the years? Who knows? Perhaps National Princess Peach Month was announced just for fun, although one might want to take a look at history and point out that in the Year of Luigi, Mario’s far thinner brother had picked up a couple of video game title roles, not to mention had a fair number of cameos other titles.
Will there be a Super Princess Peach 2 title that has so far remained under wraps? How about a New Super Peach Bros.? Only time will tell.
