razer-chromaLife can get pretty boring, and fast, too, when it is in black and white. With color around, everything else looks a whole lot more vibrant, and gaming hardware specialists Razer know that. This is why Razer has announced that Chroma will be made available for selected 2015 through 2016 Razer peripherals, delivering over 16 million color options which will be synchronizable across multiple connected devices; while the SDK will also be released so that developers can take advantage of it to offer customized advanced lighting effects for games.

The all-new Chroma feature paves the way for full-spectrum, color-customizable lighting so that enabled Razer devices will be able to go the extra mile in soothing the gamer’s need for cool stuff. With Chroma, multiple devices are able to synchronize lighting colors and patterns, making your gaming sessions – especially those that go on with all the lights turned off, be a whole lot more psychedelic.

The first few peripherals from Razer that will gain this new Chroma feature would be the BlackWidow Ultimate keyboard, the DeathAdder gaming mouse, and the Kraken 7.1 headset. All three of them will now have the option of 16.8 million customizable colors and a range of effects, thanks to Razer’s cloud-based hardware configurator Razer Synapse. [Press Release]
