Razer has officially introduced its next-generation ergonomic gaming mouse series, headlined by the flagship Razer Basilisk V4 Pro, alongside the value-oriented Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed and the updated Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro.
The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro retains its signature ergonomic chassis with a dedicated thumb rest while shedding 12 grams compared to its predecessor. The upgraded exterior features 14 customizable controls, incorporating a third side switch and an integrated edge trigger. A core physical enhancement is the second-generation Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, delivering four distinct scrolling modes ranging from tactile feedback to an adaptive Smart-Reel system.
Internally, the flagship model houses the Razer Focus Pro 50K optical sensor, supporting up to 50,000 DPI sensitivity and 90 G acceleration. Advanced connectivity relies on HyperSpeed Wireless technology supporting a native 8,000 Hz polling rate for ultra-low latency. Physical inputs utilize fourth-generation optical mouse switches rated for 100 million clicks. Battery endurance reaches up to 200 hours over wireless at 1,000 Hz and extends to 275 hours via Bluetooth 6.2, which pairs with up to five host devices. Dynamic aesthetics are driven by 7-zone Razer Chroma RGB illumination.
Alongside the mouse, the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro offers magnetic wireless charging while housing an integrated 8,000 Hz wireless transceiver, consolidating peripheral connectivity into a single USB port. The charging dock includes independent underglow lighting and a high-traction base.
For budget-conscious setups, the Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed delivers an accessible alternative weighing 0.21 lbs (94 g). It carries the shared ergonomic profile while streamlining hardware to a Focus X 33K optical sensor with 33,000 DPI, 12 programmable controls, and an operational life of up to 140 hours on wireless or 225 hours over Bluetooth.
