Motorola as a company has other divisions under it. Google had purchased Motorola Mobility which then they promptly sold off to Lenovo. Well it looks like the other part of Motorola that wasn’t sold, Motorola Solutions, wants back in on the Android game. The company has recently teased a new device that they will be unveiling on the 21st of October.

However if you were hoping to see some kind of sleek and sexy Android smartphone, you might be disappointed. Instead according to the teaser, it looks like we might be looking at some kind of rugged device instead. Interestingly enough Motorola Solutions is referring to the device as an “all-touch mobile computer”.

While we might have initially thought of it as a smartphone, the way it has been worded seems to suggest a tablet, although oddly enough the teaser doesn’t seem to resemble a tablet. Could we be looking at a phablet device then? Or could an “all-touch mobile computer” just be a fancy way of saying it’s a smartphone?

Well either way from what we know, it’s a rugged device that runs on Android that seems to be targeted at the business user, but do check back with us on the 21st of October for all the details.
