If you have faced considerable problems in getting your hands on a OnePlus One unit you’re certainly not alone. The so called flagship killer hasn’t been widely available for purchase. OnePlus ran an invite system through which only those who received an invite could actually purchase a unit. Now though it is finally moving beyond that with a new pre-order system.

The new pre-order system is an alternative to the invites though they’re not being completely phased out. Through the pre-order system those who want to purchase a OnePlus One will be able to place their order for the device and immediately see the estimated shipping time for their unit.

Pre-orders for the OnePlus One will officially open on October 27th at 08:00 PST. Till then customers can set their shopping cart precisely how they want it to be so that no time is lost in selecting the product when pre-orders do open.

If the pre-order is submitted and you then happen to receive an invite to purchase this smartphone, the invite can be used to “skip the queue” and get immediate shipping of the unit.

There’s just one caveat though. This pre-order window will only be opened for one hour on the aforementioned date and time. Visit preorder.oneplus.net to find out more.
