Google has already released updated developer previews of Android 5.0 Lollipop for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, soon the update will officially be released for existing Nexus devices including the Nexus 4. After these devices get the update the Google Play Edition units are next in line. Samsung isn’t known for quickly releasing new updates for its devices but this time around the Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update may not take too much timing in arriving on the device.

Looks like Samsung has hinted about this possibility itself. In a tweet that highlights the Galaxy Note 4’s Quad HD display there’s an obvious reference to Lollipop, which we now know to be the next iteration of Android OS.

The update will obviously be released for this device at some point but could this mean that it may not take too long? Previous reports have already suggested that Samsung is looking at a late November or early December release of the Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

It has taken Samsung far longer than this to release new updates for its latest devices, so the late November timeframe is actually quite good by comparison.

So far Samsung has not officially revealed the roadmap for Android 5.0 whereas other OEMs like Sony and Motorola wasted no time in confirming devices that will receive the much awaited Lollipop update.
