Now, Minecraft has been a wildly successful game across many different platforms, making it an exception to the rule. After all, blocky graphics are not exactly a strong selling point these days, taking into consideration the amount of pixels that game developers try to pack in with each new release. What you see above is a fan effort as to how Minecraft might look like if it were to arrive in a far higher resolution than the blocky graphics on which millions enjoy each day without complaining.

The animations happen to be the handiwork of YouTuber Flashcode, where he has made use of a range of programs to get the job done, where among them include Blender, MakeHuman, and Adobe Premiere Pro. So far, up to seven different shorts have been uploaded to date where you can check them out here, and the most recent one shows off a typical day in the world of Minecraft where skeletons attack. This particular version of High Definition Minecraft has an advantage for the skeleton though – it is capable of shooting through windows, now how about that?

Do you still enjoy a spot of Minecraft every now and then, and do you think that some time in the distant future, there will be a real, official version of high definition Minecraft?
